His journey into music began at an early age when he formed the band “The Verve” with friends in the early 1990s.

The Verve made a big splash in 1997 with their album “Urban Hymns,” which included the hit “Bitter Sweet Symphony.” This song made them stars around the world and is still loved in alternative rock today.

Even though The Verve had ups and downs, Richard Ashcroft went on to have a successful solo career, proving his incredible skills as a singer and songwriter.
