Norwich Music Photographer Lee Blanchflower on sacking and his Kasabian Photography used to accompany Meighan’s sacking after a conviction.

It was all a little surreal. I’ve been a massive fan of Kasabian for so long and got the chance to shoot some up-close Kasabian Photography back in 2018.

The band headlined Forest Live at Thetford High Lodge Concerts, an annual assignment which 2024 will be my 11th year as in-house photographer.

It was possibly one of the best gigs I’ve ever photographed. I’d stupidly avoided them at Radio 1 Bigs Weekend the previous year after the toss of a coin saw me photographing Lana Del Ray because I thought I’d get a better return on images sales.

I’d always kicked myself for missing out, so it was a great chance to grab some ridiculously good imagery…
