Our assignment with Newport Norse, to capture engineering works on the rare structure that still stands as a behemoth of industrial ingenuity and heritage and a recognisable landmark in Newport.
Newport Transporter Bridge History
The historic bridge has now embarked on a journey of restoration, with Blanc Creative, experts in commercial photography, capturing pivotal moments of this endeavour.
The Transporter Bridge, akin to a suspended ferry, offers a pragmatic solution for efficient river crossing. Its high-level boom, supported by towering structures, facilitates a rail track for a moving carriage, known as a ‘traveller.’
As the bridge undergoes this transformative phase, Blanc Creative’s documentation serves as a testament to its enduring legacy and the dedicated individuals behind its restoration.
