Kula Shaker live
Kula Shaker on stage is something else entirely. Joss sticks on stage, swirling psychedelic visuals projected behind the band, Jay Darlington lost in the Hammond organ, and Crispian Mills doing things with a wah-wah pedal that make the room feel like it’s levitating.
We were there for the 2025 Ocean Colour Scene UK tour, where Kula Shaker appeared as very special guests across 19 sold-out dates — and we had the cameras out in Cambridge at the Corn Exchange.
For Blanc Creative’s Lee Blanchflower, this one was personal. Two bands he’d followed since his twenties, sharing the same bill for the first time in decades.
The lighting was spectacular, the colour extraordinary, and the energy in the room was exactly what you hope for and rarely get.
The Kula Shaker images in this portfolio were shot across the tour and capture what makes Kula Shaker live so visually arresting, the light, the movement, the moments between the moments.
Classic songs, original lineup, no compromise.
