Kaiser Chiefs in Concert — UEA, Norwich | February 2026
The Nick Rayns LCR was sold out and loud. Kaiser Chiefs in Concert drew a crowd that had waited twenty years to hear Employment played front to back, and on a wet February night in Norwich, Ricky Wilson gave them exactly that.
Shot from the pit, the set opened hard. Strobes, smoke, and a room that knew every word before the first chorus landed.
Lee Blanchflower was shooting for International News Agency, Splash & Shutterstock, elbows leaning on the stage barrier with a prime 50mm f1.8 and a 24-70. It was tight. No room to breathe, working the light as it came.
The band were tight, unhurried, and clearly enjoying themselves. Wilson moved constantly, playing to the cameras, which is always fantastic.
The Kaiser Chiefs in concert remind you why photographing live music still matters. Not the arenas, not the stadium productions. A room this size, a band this good, and nowhere to hide.
